Gorsty Hill Cattery

ANY PERSON ENTERING GORSTY HILL CATTERY OR SURROUNDING PROPERTY DOES SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. PLEASE FOLLOW ALL SIGNS.

AS THE CATTERY IS UP A HILL, PEASE RING THE HOUSE DOORBELL AND YOU WILL BE ACCOMPANIED UP THE PATH. THE PATH GETS VERY SLIPPERY WHEN WET AND YOU MAY BE ASKED TO HAND OVER YOUR CAT ON THE DRIVEWAY, IF IT IS DEEMED TOO DANGEOUS. ALL CATS MUST BE DELIVERED IN A SUITABLE CAT CARRIER. 

CHILDREN YOU MUST BE SUPERVISED AND KEPT UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES. 

FEES 

All fees are charged by the day, including the day of arrival and the day of departure. There is a 3 day minimum fee. Fees are payable on departure. The fees for the entire booking must be paid in full, even if the cat is collected early.

DEPOSITS

A deposit of £30 per cat is to be paid at the time of booking Deposits are non-refundable within 14 days of the booking start date. If longer than 14 days, they may be refunded or transferred to another booking.

VACCINATIONS AND PARASITES

All cats accepted for boarding MUST be bring a current Vaccination Certificate and must be fully vaccinated against Feline Parvovirus (Infectious Enteritis), Feline Panleukopenia and Feline respiratory viruses (Feline Calicivirus and Feline Herpes Virus) before boarding. All cats must be up to date with flea and worm treatments. The cattery reserves the right to give cats flea and worm treatments if necessary, at the client’s cost.

VETS FEES

If Gorsty Hill Cattery is liable for any Vets fees, the fees will be paid directly to the Vet. If not, any Vet fees incurred during the boarding period will be the responsibility of the client and must be paid at the time of settling the boarding fees, unless these fees are billed directly by your or our Vet. 

Consent for Vet visits is given in the Gorsty Hill Cattery’s Consent Form.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Gorsty Hill Cattery supplies beds and bedding but clients are welcome to bring their cat’s own from home. All belongings are left entirely at the owner’s own risk. Any bedding and beds must be clean and parasite free. All cat carriers, beds, bedding, toys etc. must be clearly marked with the client and the cat names.

WELFARE

All cats are boarded entirely at the client’s own risk. Every care will be taken but if a client’s cat passes away whilst in care of Gorsty Hill Cattery, we will do our utmost to have the body frozen so that the client can make any decisions on their return regarding cremation, burial and post mortem. Unfortunately, the cost will have to be added to the client’s bill.

General

The cattery reserves the right to separate cats from the same household if necessary, permission given in the Gorsty Hill Cattery Consent Form 

Please note that female cats must be spayed and tom cats neutered to be to boarded at Gorsty Hill Cattery.
